Fifteen structures are being evacuated in Jackson on Wednesday afternoon after a multi-acre wildfire broke out, officials said. In all 25, structures in the area of South Stump Tavern Road are threatened by the fire, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service said at about 1:30 p.m.

The so-called Shotgun Fire, located in the area of South Stump Tavern Road in Jackson, was first reported at 12:17 p.m. When firefighters first arrived, flames were burning six to eight feet high, across 10 to 12 acres, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.
