Update: 5% containment reached for Mountain Fire in Ventura County
Mountain Fire initially started 8:51 a.m. Nov. 6 in Ventura County. It has burned 20,485 acres after being active for 34 hours. By Thursday evening, a crew of 2,420 firefighters effectively contained 5% of the fire. The cause of it is still under investigation.
