Illinois voters head to the polls on Nov. 5 to cast ballots in the presidential race as well as a number of down-ballot congressional races.

Control of the House is in limbo Wednesday as votes in several critical races continue to be tallied. All 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives were on the ballot in the 2024 election, and whichever party wins control of the House will likely have a slim majority,
