The 2024-25 UEFA Europa League will kick off this week as 36 teams will fight to win the first Europa League under the new format, just like the UEFA Champions League. The 36 sides will play the league phase before the knockout stages that will start in February.

Manchester United has its sights set on lifting its second UEFA Europa League title this season. After the club endured one of its worst seasons in recent memory, Erik ten Hag still managed to lift the FA Cup over rival Manchester City with a 2–1 victory at Wembley Stadium.

Like the Champions League, changes have also been made to Europa League, which features Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur this season.
