Domestic stock market index Sensex crosses the 85,000-mark for the first time on Tuesday. The Bombay Stock Exchange website showed the index at 85,043.44 at around 10 am this morning. The indices have benefitted from positive investor sentiments after the US Federal Reserve cut its interest rates by a huge 50 basis points (bps).
