Tampa's Busch Gardens theme park welcomed a Southern White Rhino. To celebrate, they have a poll to decide its name

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is celebrating the birth of a new female southern white rhino calf! The little one, weighing in at about 100 pounds, was born to an experienced mom, Kisiri. She'll soon be joining the park's diverse group of African animals on the sprawling 65-acre Serengeti Plain.

Colin Wolf has been working with weekly newspapers since 2007 and has been the Digital Editor for Creative Loafing Tampa since 2019. He is also the Director of Digital Content Strategy for CL's parent company, Chava Communications.
