Veterans Day is always observed on Nov. 11 each year and is a time for the country to recognize and honor America’s veterans.

The entire Miami Valley celebrated Veterans Day today, Nov. 11. Of all Ohio’s counties, Greene and Clark County are home to the highest number of veterans in the state. About an hour later, the City of Cleveland Veterans Day Parade kicked off in front of City Hall and hundreds of participants wound their way through downtown Cleveland and back to City Hall. Citizens lined the sidewalks and waved, took photos and videos, and cheered as the marchers passed by.
