State police are searching for 60-year-old Steven Girtley. He is accused of shooting and killing 36-year-old Justin Girtley during an alleged argument at a home in the Flat Creek Road area on Saturday.

Kentucky State Police are looking for a man suspected of murder in Franklin County. Just before 10 p.m. Saturday, KSP responded to the area of Flat Creek Road in reference to an altercation between Justin Girtley and Steven Girtley. Franklin County is where the state capital, Frankfort, is located.

KSP says they responded to the area of Flat Creek Road in Franklin County just before 10 p.m. in reference to an altercation between Justin Girtley and Steven Girtley. When they arrived, police found Justin Girtley with a gunshot wound. Police say Steven had fled the residence into a wooded area by the time troopers arrived.
