Kathryn Hahn has revealed it was her idea to strip down naked for the Disney+ Marvel show "Agatha All Along," marking a first for the franchise.

WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer has recalled the moment she and Agatha All Along star Kathryn Hahn stumbled on "the greatest idea" on set of the Marvel spin-off: the titular witch's nude scene in episode 1.

Agatha All Along star Kathryn Hahn carved out her place in Marvel history with her nude scene in the series’ pilot episode, currently streaming on Disney+.

“Agatha All Along” is a spinoff of the MCU show “WandaVision,” which aired in 2021 starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. The show followed Wanda and Vision (Bettany) living in suburbia following the events of the 2019 movie “Avengers: Endgame.”

In “Agatha All Along,” debuting Wednesday, Hahn reprises her role as the powerful witch, one of the original victims of the Salem witch trials. She must recruit some unusual allies on her quest to regain the powers she lost when Wanda cast a spell to trap Agatha in the fictional town of Westview. Patti LuPone, Aubrey Plaza and Joe Locke also star.

The 51-year-old stars as the witch Agatha Harkness in the new Disney Plus show. At the end of WandaVision, Agatha is trapped in containment, but in the opening of the first episode, she wakes up back in the suburb where most of the original series took place. She wanders out into the streets looking for answers about what’s going on – naked.

Despite not being very knowledgeable about Marvel, Kathryn Hahn jumped to the role of Agatha after being taken away by the pitch.
