WAYNE COUNTY, MI – An investigation is underway after a teen girl allegedly stabbed her younger sister to death. Identities of those involved in the incident are not being released because they are minors, investigators said.

One girl is injured and her sister is in custody after a possible stabbing Saturday afternoon. Taylor police say officers responded to the report of a domestic disturbance in the area of Telegraph Road and Chestnut Street just after 1 p.

"This is a tragic event for the family, and we are ensuring that the necessary resources are being made available to support everyone involved," police said on Facebook.
