(CBS DETROIT) — Five children were injured in a two-vehicle car crash in Southfield Friday morning, officials said. The incident happened at around 7:45 a.m. on Lahser Road, just south of 10 Mile Road, according to Southfield Fire Chief Johnny Menifee.

A man and a woman are in critical condition after their motorcycle crashed into a car on Detroit's west side Monday, police said. Officers were called at about 5 p.m. Monday to the scene of the crash in the 19800 block of Schoolcraft Road near Evergreen Road, according to the Detroit Police Department.

TROY, MI – One person died after a rollover crash on the border of Troy and Sterling Heights. Fox 2 in Detroit reports the crash occurred near Dequindre Road south of Metro Parkway around 7 a.m. on Sunday and involved a Corvette, which was found mangled and upside down against a fence.

The families filed the lawsuits against the driver of the vehicle, Continental Automotive, Ford and the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program.
